In 2001 I was living at 382 Fry St. in St. Paul, Minnesota otherwise known as the Monkey House. It was a duplex with 3 up and 3 down. So along with us 6, we'd drag back a bunch of other folks from the Turf Club and party the night away. Things were beyond crazy. And it was not uncommon to wake up surrounded by bottles and cans, but mill about drinking coffee (or warm beer) for a few hours before tackling the mess.

The bands associated with the house, to name a few, were The Youngers (Cole Younger Band), 10W40, Spikedriver, High Horses, Rusty String Quartet, Jake Wisti and the Centurions, Whiskey Sour Notes. At the time I lived there, I lived with Joe Habiger and Andy Husband, and for a time, Nate Stensgard. Upstairs was Tad Tampke, Hazy Dave Hazeldine and Kenny Devoe. Previous folks included James Edlund, Zach Zinns, Chris Morose, Jules and Louise. Here's a shout out to all y'all. Those were some great memories!

Anyway, my nephew Eric has this painting now.
